Interdisciplinary research programs blurring the traditional boundary between disciplines are gaining ground, there-by promoting cross-disciplinary research. In an endeavor to create a new platform to cater to today’s needs, GMERF has taken its shape out of a comprehensive thought process.
GMERF engages in interactions with traditional Universities and Private/Public Research Institutions through a variety of outreach programs. It actively promotes programs that encourage bright young undergraduate and postgraduate students to undertake research careers."

GMERF is recognized as a Research & Development Centre by department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Govt. of India. It is affiliated to several Universities like JNTU-H (Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University- Hyderabad (Biotechnology), Osmania University (Genetics, Biochemistry), Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (Biochemistry) molecular Biology and has faculties who are recognized as guides in these research disciplines.
