Dr. Ranganathan N Iyer

Ranganathan N Iyer is working as a Senior Consultant in the department of Clinical Microbiology at Global Hospitals. He completed his MBBS at Rural Medical College of the Pravara Medical Trust, Loni, University of Poona and MD, Microbiology at Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, University of Poona. He is specialized in MD (Microbiology) DNB DPB, RR Path (UK), MAMS. He was invited by many institutions as guest faculty and delivered several lectures. Dr. Iyer has organized many CME programs, workshops and conferences medical students in Microbiology. He has been the Coordinator and Country Leader (India) for the International Department, the Royal College of Pathologists UK from 2015 till date.

Dr. Iyer works in a NABL accredited laboratory, (ISO 15189 2012 International standard for medical laboratories) since 2009. He has several years of teaching experience since 1991and to his credit he has published 31 research papers, 2 review articles in peer reviewed journals. He published a book on ‘Sample collection in Clinical Microbiology’ and shared authorship in two other book publications.
