About
Dr. Sandhya Rai is a postdoctoral associate with expertise in colorectal cancer research. With a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, her work focuses on identifying and characterizing biomarkers and fusion genes involved in cancer progression. A significant achievement is her discovery of the CTNND1-RAB6A fusion gene, which plays a role in promoting colorectal cancer cell expansion.
Dr. Rai's research integrates molecular biology, bioinformatics, and advanced technologies like Next-Generation Sequencing (NGS), providing insights into the molecular mechanisms of cancer. Her work has been presented at international conferences and published in leading scientific journals, contributing valuable knowledge to the field. She has experience in cell culture, gene cloning, drug targeting, and computational modeling, with a focus on cancer therapeutics.

Having worked at institutions such as Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Rai actively participates in scientific collaborations and research aimed at advancing cancer biology.
